This is known as the pot being quartered. |

| 10.7.2.1 | Note: To play Omaha Hi-Lo Poker you must have enough credits to place a blind bet and a bet. Omaha Hi-Lo plays as follows: 1. In the first round, the Player to the Big Blind's left plays first and can either: · Raise · Call · Fold 4. In the second round, three community cards are dealt. This is called the Flop. A round of betting follows and Players can either: · Check · Call · Raise · Fold 5. In the third round, a fourth community card is dealt. This is called the Turn. Another round of betting follows. 6. In the fourth round a fifth and final community card is dealt. This is called the River. The final round of betting follows. The remaining Players then use two of their pocket cards and three of the community cards to create the best five-card low and five-card high hand possible. The two Players with the best high and low hands, split the pot. Note: When a Player wins a hand, the cards that make up the win are highlighted, and the remaining cards are grayed out. Important: · Winning hands must consist of two pocket cards and three community cards. · Low hands can only win if all the cards in the hand have a value of eight or less. If the five community cards do not include at least three cards with a value of eight or less, there is no possibility of making a low hand. In this case, the high hand wins the whole pot. Note: · It is not always possible to create both a low hand and a high hand. Sometimes you can only play for either the high hand or the low hand. ·It is possible to win the entire pot by having both the highest and lowest hands. ·If you and another Player tie on a low hand, you both win a quarter of the pot. This is known as the pot being quartered. Example: 1. Player A wins the high hand and Players B and C tie for the low hand. The pot is $100. Player A receives $50 and Players B and C receive $25 each. |
| 10.7.3 | Strategies |

This means that your hidden card does not give you a low hand advantage. · When there are less than four Players at the table, you still lose money if the pot is quartered. · You must decide quickly if you are eligible to play for the low hand, and adjust your betting accordingly. · If you have a strong high hand after the flop, it is advisable to play aggressively through to the end. This ensures you have a good chance of winning half the pot. |

As soon as a tournament is announced in the Tournament Area, it is possible to register for that tournament unless other information is given in the description for the Tournament. When the player registers, the amount of the buy-in and entry fee is deducted from the players poker account. The buy-in will go to the prize pool and the entry fee goes to Maria. If there is no entry fee, the site will charge 9 % of the buy-in and 4 % on rebuys in commission. |
| 10.11.3 | If more than the maximum amount of players registers for a tournament, the player will be placed in a waiting list. If another player removes his registration before the tournament starts, the player will move up on the waiting list and eventually into the playing list. If a player is still on the waiting list when the tournament starts, the player will be refunded the buy-in and entry fee. |
| 10.11.4 | If a player has registered for a tournament, the player could remove his registration before the tournament has started. By doing so, the buy-in and entry fee are returned to the players account. Tournament seats won in satellites can not be de-registered. |

| 10.11.11 | The software will balance the tables by moving a player from a table with many players to a table with few players. |
| 10.11.12 | To prevent people from stalling the game when a new prize level is coming up, a hand-for-hand procedure is used. This means that if there are more than one table running and the next prize level will be reached when the next player is eliminated the next hand is dealt only when all the other tables have finished their hands. If more than one player is eliminated during the same hand-for-hand level the player with more chips at the start of the hand wins the higher prize. |
| 10.11.13 | As the play continues, and players are eliminated, tables will be broken starting with the table where a player was eliminated last. This will continue until it is only one final table left. When the final table is reached, the software will reshuffle the seats and select a new dealer by giving one card to each player. |
| 10.11.14 | When a player is moved from one table to another (either by table balancing or table breaking,) the player in the upcoming big blind position is moved to a seat as close to the dealer as possible on the new table. |
| 10.11.15 | In heads up play, the dealer has the big blind. |
| 10.11.16 | The tournament ends when one player has accumulated all the chips in the tournament. |
| 10.11.17 | If a player is disconnected or away he will still post his blinds in turn. The player will be dealt cards and could anytime during the hand come back into play. There is no concept of all-ins. If a player times out during the hand and someone has made a raise before him, the hand is folded. |
| 10.11.18 | In the unlikely event that there is a server crash, all hands currently in progress will be canceled, and there will be attempts to restart the tournament from where it crashed. If that can not be done within 20 minutes the remaining players will be compensated in accordance to Maria's tournament clean up routines. Players that have already received a prize will keep their prizes. |
| 10.11.19 | If there is a server crash before the tournament has started the registered players will get a refund of the buy-in and/or the entry fee within 24 hours. The tournament is started when the first hand of cards is dealt. |

If both the highest pairs are equal the player with the highest second pair wins. If even the second pair is of the same numerical value the highest fifth card will decide who wins. In case of the Vela card being the highest kicker in deciding between two equal Two Pair-hands the player holding the highest suit in the highest pair wins. |

In case the highest card is equal in value the Straight Flush with the highest suit wins. There is one special rule: if it’s only two players left in the pot the highest Straight Flush (A, K, Q, J, T in Hearts) is beaten by the lowest Straight Flush (T, 9, 8, 7, A in Spades). |
| 10.14 | Razz is played as follows: · An ante is placed on the table by each of the two to eight Players. The ante amount is set by the Poker room. · Players are dealt three cards, two hole cards and one face-up card. · The Player with the highest card showing, by suit, is forced to bring-in the betting by making a wager of either half the small bet, or a full small bet. Note: Suits are ranked as follows from low to high – Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts and Spades. · A round of betting begins moving clockwise around the table. Players can either: - Raise - Call - Fold · After all the Players have contributed the same amount to the pot, the Fourth Street is dealt face-up. There is another round of betting started by the Player whose exposed cards have the lowest Poker value ignoring straights and flushes. Players can either check or bet. In fixed limit games, Fourth Street betting is still at the lower limit unless a Player has a pair showing. If a pair is showing, the first Player to bet may choose to open the betting at the higher limit. · At Fifth Street, in fixed limit games, the bets are at the higher amount whether a Pair is showing. At Sixth Street, the final face-up card is dealt. Again the first Player to act is the Player that has the lowest exposed Poker hand. · The seventh card is dealt face down to all Players, followed by the final round of betting and the Showdown. The Player with the lowest five-card Razz hand wins the pot. |

| 10.20.6 | Artificial All-In |
| 10.20.6.1 | As a way to protect players from losses due to problems with the connection a system has been worked out to protect the players. This system is used by most card room on the Internet. It works as follows: If a player cannot act he will be treated as all-in if he has put money into the pot (if not his hand will be folded ). Every player will be allowed to be artificially all-in a fixed number of times per 24 hours. The all-ins should not be misused. If the management discovers that a player uses the option to be all-in to gain advantages, he will be warned and if it happens again his account will be closed. It is only possible to become artificial all-in in Fixed Limit and Spread Limit games, not in PL , ½PL and NL games and only in cash games. We recommend that you only play higher limits if your internet connection is very good. |
| 10.20.7 | Server Crash |
| 10.20.7.1 | In case our server crashes, all players at the tables will have their money returned to their player accounts. We are aware that this can be frustrating for some players, especially if you hold a big hand, but this is the only way to solve these kind of situations. |
